Vivos Therapeutics Targets $3.6 Million in Annual Cost Savings as Revenue Initiatives Advance

Gold bars and stacks of coins arranged in a rising financial chart, representing Vivos Therapeutics’ cost-reduction and revenue-growth initiatives.

Key Points for VVOS Investors

  • Vivos expects the full effect of its cost reductions to take hold in the fourth quarter of 2026, with additional changes starting October 1.
  • Referrals to its Las Vegas Sleep and Airway Medicine Centers rose approximately threefold from the beginning of June through September 27; related revenue is expected to appear in the fourth quarter and into 2027.
  • The company projects a fourth-quarter annualized revenue run rate of $1.5 million to $3.0 million for its EEG diagnostic testing and treatment initiative.
  • Vivos expects its remote patient monitoring program to add revenue at an annualized rate of up to $3.5 million by the first quarter of 2027.
  • Management is renegotiating legacy payer contracts and estimates a potential revenue impact of $2.4 million to $5.6 million.

Vivos Therapeutics (VVOS) recently stated that a restructuring plan and several revenue growth initiatives could move the company toward positive cash flow by late 2026 or early 2027. Management estimates the cost plan will save $3.6 million annually, while caution is warranted on the revenue figures: they are projections, not reported results.

Restructuring Plan Targets $3.6 Million in Annual Savings

Vivos said parts of its cost-reduction plan are already in place, with further changes scheduled to begin October 1, 2026. The company expects the full set of reductions to take effect during the fourth quarter.

The estimated $3.6 million in annual savings would come primarily from staff reductions, changes to vendor relationships and negotiated contract savings. Vivos also pointed to replacement of legacy IT and software systems, including greater use of AI, as a way to reduce labor costs. The announcement does not quantify savings from that technology work separately.

Las Vegas Referrals and EEG Testing Could Lift Revenue

Referrals into Vivos’ Las Vegas Sleep and Airway Medicine Centers increased approximately threefold between the start of June and September 27, according to the company. Vivos expects revenue associated with the increase to begin appearing in the fourth quarter of 2026 and continue into 2027. It did not provide a starting referral count or a revenue figure for those referrals.

Vivos said its EEG diagnostic testing and treatment initiative grew from near zero in May. Management projects that it will reach an annualized revenue run rate of $1.5 million to $3.0 million in the fourth quarter. An annualized run rate describes a pace of revenue; it is not the same as revenue already earned over a full year.

Remote Monitoring and Payer Contracts Add Growth Targets

Vivos expects its remote patient monitoring program to contribute revenue at an annualized rate of up to $3.5 million by the first quarter of 2027. The company is also renegotiating older payer contracts to bring rates closer to current market levels.

Management estimates those contract changes could have a revenue impact of $2.4 million to $5.6 million, with little associated cost. Vivos expects the fee increases to be realized in early 2027 and over the following six to nine months, but the announcement does not say the renegotiations are complete.

Investor Takeaway: Watch Cash Flow and Reported Revenue

For VVOS investors, the central question is whether lower expenses and higher revenue arrive on the proposed timetable. Management believes the initiatives put Vivos on track for positive cash flow by late 2026 or early 2027 and profitability in 2027.

Those are company targets rather than achieved results. Upcoming financial reports should show how much of the projected savings has materialized, whether higher referrals are converting into revenue, and how the EEG, remote monitoring and payer-contract initiatives are performing.
