As automotives continue to shift from internal combustion engines to battery powered, the electric vehicle segment continues to emerge and evolve. The share of electric vehicles in total sales has more than tripled since 2020 (from ~4% to ~14% in 2022) and sales are expected to reach $14M by the end of 2023, according to the IEA.
The PRISM Emerging EV Index tracks small and micro-cap stocks that are contributing to the electric vehicle market as automakers, EV component suppliers or other EV related businesses such as charging stations.
