Sarepta Therapeutics

— This biopharma stock surged by 37% as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration sanctioned Sarepta’s Elevidys gene therapy for expanded usage to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients. Previously, this therapy was only approved for patients who are able to walk, aged 4 years or older, with fast-track approval for those unable to walk.

Nike

— This sports apparel manufacturer saw a 1% rise in shares following an upgrade from Oppenheimer, moving its rating from market perform to outperform. Gilead Sciences
