Stocks making the biggest moves premarket: Novo Nordisk, New York Community Bancorp, Victoria’s Secret, Nvidia and more

Here are the top companies that made waves before opening bell:

Novo Nordisk’s shares are on the rise, seeing a 6.6% leap following successful Phase 1 trials for its revolutionary obesity drug, amycretin. This announcement saw a minor drop in shares for rival American company, Eli Lilly.

The semiconductor industry witnessed a general boost, led by Nvidia whose shares grew by 1.8%, following Mizuho’s prediction of a potential $1000 share value. Other industry players like Micron Technology, Broadcom, and Intel also saw a significant uplift in their shares.

Supermarket giant, Kroger, saw its shares up by 6% after reporting earnings for Q4 that surpassed analyst expectations, although revenues were slightly below expectations.

After exceeding Q4 estimates, American Eagle Outfitters enjoyed a 13% surge in their stocks. They reported earnings of 61 cents per share on a revenue of $1.68 billion.

Tesla, however, faced a 2% fall in their premarket shares expanding on their 12% decline in the running week. Citi remains cautious, maintaining a hold rating, and waiting for a more favorable entry point.

New York Community Bancorp shares are also in the green, rising by 3% after revealing updated financial data.

In contrast, Victoria’s Secret suffered a staggering 29% drop in shares following the release of a disappointing forecast for Q1 and the full year, falling short of analyst predictions.
