DataMeds AI’s Corexa Pharmacy Tops $1 Million in Monthly Revenue

September revenue rose more than 66% from July as the rebranded pharmacy adds adjunct products and fills prescriptions for the Health Lives Here app.

DataMeds AI (NASDAQ: MEDS) said Corexa Pharmacy recorded more than $1 million in preliminary, unaudited revenue in September, up more than 66% from July. The company completed the pharmacy’s rebrand in July, the first month of the third quarter.

For scale, DataMeds reported total company revenue of $1.779 million for the second quarter. Corexa’s preliminary September revenue alone exceeded $1 million.

Prescriptions and Adjunct Products Drive the Increase

The company attributed the growth to an expanding retail customer base and the launch of Tollo Health’s proprietary dietary supplements and medical foods, including Tollovid and Galectovid. Corexa distributes Tollo products under a wholesale arrangement. Gerald Commissiong serves as both CEO of Tollo Health and interim co-CEO of DataMeds.

“We are beginning to see the growth in both prescriptions filled and adjunct product sales,” Commissiong said. Corexa is positioning itself around patients taking GLP-1 receptor agonists and the Long COVID community.

Health Lives Here and a 6,500-Pharmacy Network

Corexa also serves as a fulfillment option for telehealth prescriptions through the recently launched Health Lives Here mobile app, an initiative DataMeds runs with NFL Alumni Health. The company is upgrading Corexa’s physical location to serve as the flagship for that initiative. The company said the location will also serve as a model for pharmacies across Corexa Health’s network of more than 6,500 independent pharmacies.

DataMeds also cited its completed acquisition of Helomics Corporation as a potential source of demand for oncology medications and nutritional support products.

The revenue update follows a September litigation settlement under which DataMeds paid $450,000 and retired 364,099 common shares. The company said it expects the settlement to extinguish approximately $19 million in balance-sheet liabilities.

From One Pharmacy to a Network Model

The September figure gives the strategy a revenue base. DataMeds is building a model in which one pharmacy fills prescriptions from the company’s own app, sells adjacent products and serves as the template for thousands of independent locations.
