PRISM Spotlight: EdgeMode (OTC: EDGM) Rides the AI Data-Center Wave to a 90% Session Surge

EDGM stock jumped ~59% as EdgeMode rides AI data-center demand, a 4.4GW Europe pipeline, and its $1B merger. PRISM MarketView breaks it down.

EdgeMode, Inc. (OTC: EDGM | edgemode.io) topped PRISM MarketView’s AI Datacenter & Infrastructure index on July 7, 2026, surging roughly 90% to about $0.0063 from a prior close of $0.0033 (as of the latest quote around midday ET). The ultra-low-priced stock traded in a session range of $0.0042 to $0.0068 on volume above 19 million shares — well ahead of its ~14.6 million average — as speculative buyers piled into a name that still sits near the bottom of its 52-week range of $0.0002 to $0.1100. Moreover, this surge was not a one-off. Just over a week earlier, EDGM ripped about 37% higher in a single session on comparable turnover, which shows how a tiny float and thin liquidity can turn modest buying into outsized percentage moves.

Why EdgeMode Targets AI’s Real Bottleneck: Power

Behind the trading fireworks, the company tackles what PRISM calls AI’s true constraint — not chips or algorithms, but power. EdgeMode designs, builds, and operates energy-efficient, high-performance computing (HPC) data centers. At the core of its platform sits proprietary immersion-cooling technology, which submerges high-performance chips in thermally conductive liquid. As a result, this approach cuts thermal stress, eliminates traditional HVAC, and packs in far greater compute density. Notably, the company frames this opportunity against a global AI data-center market it projects will grow from $14.3 billion in 2024 to $157 billion by 2034.

Inside the Marviken Flagship and Swedish Pipeline

EdgeMode anchors its strategy at its flagship Marviken campus in Sweden. According to the company, a 20MW power shell already runs there with a direct 130kV grid connection, seawater cooling, and integration into the local district heating network. Furthermore, EdgeMode cites up to 95MW of grid-connected capacity at the site and says it aims to scale toward 500MW, taking advantage of Sweden’s low, stable energy pricing and cool climate. Beyond Marviken, the company says it is advancing a broader Swedish pipeline of 267MW across six additional sites tied to renewable and waste-to-energy power, including locations in Helsingborg, Gävle, and Oskarshamn.

The BlackBerry AIF Merger Reshapes the Story

The proposed merger with BlackBerry AIF (BAIF) drives the most transformative catalyst in EdgeMode’s story. Under the memorandum of understanding, EdgeMode would acquire 100% of BAIF’s share capital, and BAIF stakeholders would own half of the combined company. According to PRISM, the deal should add more than $140 million in assets and push the company’s valuation toward the $1 billion mark. Strategically, it would hand the combined entity a 4.4-gigawatt pipeline of hyperscale-ready capacity across Spain and the rest of Europe, anchored by 23 development sites — with 1GW ready-to-build by Q4 2025 and another 1.2GW by Q4 2027. CEO Charlie Faulkner framed the tie-up as accelerating EdgeMode’s “transformation into a high-performance computing leader.”

Funding the Buildout

To finance that ambition, EdgeMode signed a non-binding term sheet for a $4 million convertible note, according to PRISM, supporting its digital infrastructure development and growth strategy. This move highlights just how capital-intensive scaling next-generation data centers can become.

The Bottom Line for Investors

Ultimately, PRISM paints a two-sided picture. On one hand, EDGM trades as a micro-cap penny stock whose share price can swing violently on light volume. On the other hand, the company is pursuing an ambitious, capital-intensive buildout aimed squarely at surging AI compute demand. Investors should also note that PRISM’s spotlight and company coverage carry a sponsored-content disclaimer, which indicates the publisher receives compensation in connection with EdgeMode’s securities — an important factor to weigh alongside the stock’s speculative profile.
